Jeff Lynne, 2016. Jeffrey „Jeff“ Lynne, OBE (* 30. Dezember 1947 in Birmingham) ist ein britischer Musiker und Musikproduzent, vor allem bekannt als Gründungsmitglied des Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). Außerdem war er Mitglied der Bands The Idle Race, The Move und Traveling Wilburys.
He is the co-founder and currently the sole member of the rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), which was formed in 1970, and as a songwriter has written most of the band's hits, including "Evil Woman", "Livin' Thing", "Telephone Line", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Hold On Tight".
Jeffrey Lynne, né le à Birmingham, est un chanteur et musicien britannique. Il est aussi auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste et producteur. Il est le leader du groupe rock Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) qui connait un énorme succès international dans les années 1970 et début des années 1980.

Das Electric Light Orchestra wurde 1970 in Birmingham von den Mitgliedern der Band The Move, Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne und Bev Bevan gegründet.
