Applying to Jackson State University takes three (3) easy steps: Submit an online application at www.jsums.edu by clicking the “Apply” link on the homepage. Request your high school to send an official transcript to Undergraduate Admissions. Request official ACT or SAT scores be sent to Undergraduate Admissions.

Undergraduate Freshman Student. Complete this application if you have never attended college before or if you only attended college while you were in high school. There is a $35 non-refundable fee that must be paid by credit card when you submit this application. Undergraduate Transfer Student
To apply for admission to Jacksonville State University, students must first complete an electronic application at www.jsu.edu/apply. Paper applications are available upon request. Applicants must select their appropriate student type (detailed below) and send all required documents of their application to the Office of Admissions.
