First Thursdays at SFMOMA: Free Admission for Bay Area Residents. Every first Thursday of the month, SFMOMA offers free admission to all Bay Area residents. Passes last from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are available two weeks in advance. Make sure to book your tickets early because they tend to sell out! Second Sundays for Families Every month

5. Dez. 2022 · On Sunday, SFMOMA ended up at 9,253, topping the paid admission record of 9,070 set in 2017. The city’s neighborhood museums were free on Saturday and the downtown museums on Sunday.

Sept. 2021 · SFMOMA has announced another batch of dates or free access to the museum for Bay Area locals for upcoming Thursday evenings in 2021 along with a series of free events throughout the fall. First Thursdays at SFMOMA: Free Admission for Bay Area Residents. All residents of the nine Bay Area counties are invited to spend an evening at the museum on us!
