Maurice LaMarche will join The Simpsons season 33 in the Halloween special “Treehouse of Horror XXXII” in an undisclosed role. LaMarche has voiced a number of characters throughout his career, most notably The Brain in Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain, Big Bob Pataki in Hey Arnold!, and various characters in Futurama.
Joining LaMarche in this season’s Treehouse of Horror special is Rachel Bloom, though who she will play is unknown. Bloom is best known for starring in the comedy series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and she voiced Annette in The Simpsonsseason 29 episode “Springfield Splendor”, so she’s not exactly new in Springfield.
Selman also revealed that season 33 of The Simpsons will have a “two-part epic love letter to prestige crime dramas” which will include a bunch of guest stars, including Timothy Olyphant, though what his role in it will be is unknown.
