The Angels were an American girl group best known for their 1963 No. 1 hit single "My Boyfriend's Back". The Angels originated in New Jersey as the Starlets, consisting of sisters Barbara "Bibs" and Phyllis "Jiggs" Allbut, Bernadette Carroll, and Lynda Malzone.
