12. Feb. 2024 · The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts will collaborate with Atlantic Records for a semester-long series of career development workshops and sessions with the label’s executives, including Atlantic’s A&R President Pete Ganbarg.
The Clive Davis Institute aims to provide students with the necessary skills — business, creative, and intellectual — so that they might emerge as visionary creative entrepreneurs in the evolving music industry.
You will be able to learn about the fascinating past, present and future of music making in Germany and Europe at large, and you’ll be able to practice your craft and learn about the arts and emergent media scene while meeting and working with influential Berlin-based industry professionals.
The Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music is the first of its kind to offer a four-year, degree-granting undergraduate program that recognizes the creative producer as an artist in his own right and musical recording itself as a creative medium.
Whether you’re an NYU or visiting college student, high school student or working professional, we provide you with the introductory exposure to the performing or cinematic arts and the advanced-level training to grow your craft.
