Als Swinging Sixties, kurz auch Sixties, bezeichnet man allgemein sowohl einen kulturellen wie politischen als auch modischen Trend bzw. den Zeitgeist der Gesellschaft ab Mitte der 1960er Jahre.
Die enorme Sorgfalt, die liebevolle Ausstattung mit Kommentaren des Künstlers, das teils rare Repertoire, die randvolle Füllung (hier mit 57 Titeln) nötigt allen Respekt ab. Aber die Musik! Natürlich hat der "Yesterday Man" zwischen 1965 und 1969 etliche zeittypische, zeitlose Hits abgeliefert.
