Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoléon, Prince of Montfort (born Jean-Christophe Louis Ferdinand Albéric Napoléon Bonaparte; 11 July 1986, France) is the disputed head of the Imperial House of France, and as such the heir of Napoleon Bonaparte, the first Emperor of the French.
Jean-Christophe Napoléon ist ein Sohn des bonapartistischen Thronprätendenten Charles Napoléon und dessen Ehefrau Béatrice, geb. Prinzessin von Bourbon-Sizilien (* 1950), einer Tochter des Herzogs Ferdinand von Castro (1926–2008).
Prince Napoléon Joseph Charles Paul Bonaparte (9 September 1822 – 17 March 1891), usually called Napoléon-Jérôme Bonaparte or Jérôme Bonaparte, was the second son of Jérôme, King of Westphalia, youngest brother of Napoleon I, and his second wife Catharina of Württemberg.
Charles, Prince Napoléon (born 1950, great-great-grandson of Jérôme Bonaparte by his second marriage), and his son Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoléon (born 1986 and appointed heir in the will of his grandfather Louis, Prince Napoléon) currently dispute the headship of the Bonaparte family.
4. Apr. 2024 · Jean-Christophe became head of the defunct Imperial House of France at the age of just 11 after his grandfather, Louis, Prince Napoléon, a pretender to the Imperial throne of France, said in his will that he wished the succession to bypass his son, Prince Charles Napoléon.

Napoleon Bonaparte starb am 5. Mai 1821 auf St. Helena, einer abgelegenen Insel inmitten des Südatlantiks, wo er im Exil lebte. Er wurde 51 Jahre alt. Diese Objekte werden im Privathaus von Giovanni Spadolini ausgestellt.
