Carmen was born in 1955, and at the age of 30 gave birth to Lewis Hamilton while married to Anthony Hamilton. Merely two years later, the couple separated, and Lewis lived with her until he was 12 with his half sisters Nicola and Samantha. At this point he moved in with his father Anthony, his stepmother Linda, and half-brother Nicolas.
