Paulvé est notamment le producteur de Les Enfants du paradis, La Belle et la Bête, Orphée, Jour de fête . Il a épousé notamment Simone Oulmann, la fille de la chanteuse Adeline Lanthenay en 1926 3 .
André Paulvé (30 October 1898 – 8 July 1982) was a French film producer. He established his own production and distribution company DisCina with Michel Safra in 1938. During the German Occupation of France after 1940 he based himself at Nice in the Unoccupied Zone.
The producer André Paulvé had recently been removed by the authorities from The Children of Paradise on account of his partial Jewish heritage and shifted to this less prestigious production, likely due to the intervention of his rival Alfred Greven of Continental Films.
