Beroun (Czech pronunciation:; German: Beraun) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 21,000 inhabitants. It lies at the confluence of the Berounka and Litavka rivers. Beroun creates a conurbation with Králův Dvůr, former part of Beroun.
Beroun (německy Beraun, zastarale též Bern) je město v okrese Beroun ve Středočeském kraji a obec s rozšířenou působností. Leží na soutoku Berounky a Litavky, necelých 30 km jihozápadozápadně od centra Prahy. Žije zde přibližně 21 tisíc obyvatel. Stavebně propojen je se sousedním městem Králův Dvůr.
