He was styled as His Exalted Highness (H.E.H) the Nizam of Hyderabad, and was widely considered one of the world's wealthiest people of all time. With some estimates placing his wealth at 2% of U.S. GDP, his portrait was on the cover of Time magazine in 1937.
Majesty (abbreviated HM for His Majesty or Her Majesty, oral address Your Majesty; from the Latin maiestas, meaning "greatness") is used as a manner of address by many monarchs, usually kings or queens. Where used, the style outranks the style of (Imperial/Royal) Highness, but is inferior to the style of Imperial Majesty.
The Nizams were conferred with the title of His Exalted Highness, and "Faithful Ally of the British Government" for their roles in the Second and Third Anglo-Mysore Wars and the Indian Rebellion of 1857, becoming the only Indian prince to be given both these titles.
His Exalted Highness (H.E.H) Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII was the last Nizam of Hyderabad. After formation of India, he was made Rajpramukh (Governor) of Andhra Pradesh based on Public demand. He was also the richest man on earth [1] with the Golconda mines making Hyderabad the main supplier of diamonds in the world until that time.
4. Sept. 2018 · Osman Ali Khan Bahadur was given the title of His Exalted Highness, Nizam of Hyderabad. Osman Ali Khan was also known as the Architect of Modern Hyderabad due to his involvement in the making of various buildings in Hyderabad.
