In addition to the domestic league, Lille participated in this season's edition of the Coupe de France and the UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. On 23 May 2021, with a win over Angers on the final day of the season, Lille were crowned league champions.
