Mirza Davitaia (Georgian: მირზა (პაპუნა) დავითაია, born August 30, 1975) is a Georgian politician who served as the State Minister of Georgia on Diaspora Issues from 2009 to 2012.
The founding president of Georgian International Films (GI-Films), Mirza Davitaia is a filmmaker who has written, directed, and produced both animated and live-action movies since1993. In 2016, Mirza created the graphic novel "The Knight in the Tiger's Skin" (AKA Prince of India).

Biography. A founder and president of Georgian International Films, was born in August 30st 1975 in Tbilisi, Georgia (USSR). After his art education in Germany Mirza Davitaia returned in his native Georgia and served his country as a Deputy Minister of Culture from 2004 to 2008. In 2008 he was elected in the Parliament of Georgia.
