Nesuhi Ertegun (Turkish spelling: Nesuhi Ertegün; November 26, 1917 – July 15, 1989) was a Turkish-American record producer and executive of Atlantic Records and WEA International.
Ahmet Ertegun ( / ˈɑːmɛt ˈɛərtəɡən / AH-met AIR-tə-gən; Turkish: Ahmet Zahrettin Sebuhi Ertegün, pronounced [ahˈmet eɾteˈɟyn]; July 31, 1923 – December 14, 2006) was a Turkish-American businessman, songwriter, record executive and philanthropist. Ertegun was the co-founder and president of Atlantic Records.
Munir Ertegun ( Turkish spelling: Münir Ertegün; 1883 – 11 November 1944) was a Turkish legal counsel in international law to the "Sublime Porte" ( imperial government) of the late Ottoman Empire and a diplomat of the Republic of Turkey during its early years.

Originally, Nesuhi Ertegun was president of the Cosmos. He moved up to chairman of the board after Clive Toye departed from the Cosmos in 1977. The original contact that led to the founding of the Cosmos began with a chance meeting between Nesuhi Ertegun and NASL commissioner Phil Woosnam in Mexico in 1970.
