Pandro Samuel Berman (March 28, 1905 – July 13, 1996), also known as Pan Berman, was an American film producer.
Es war Produzent Pandro S. Berman, der Mitte 1939 die Idee hatte, den deutschen Film Kleine Mutti aus dem Jahr 1935 mit Ginger Rogers neu zu verfilmen. Die Schauspielerin war zunächst nicht sonderlich angetan. Zum einen wollte sie sich endlich einen Namen mit hochdramatischen Rollen machen.
Ivanhoe war die bis dahin vierte Verfilmung des Stoffes und der erste Film der Ritter-Trilogie des Dreiergespanns Pandro S. Berman (Produktion), Richard Thorpe (Regie) und Robert Taylor (männliche Hauptrolle).
