In Greek mythology, Daedalus ( UK: / ˈdiːdələs /, US: / ˈdɛdələs /; [1] Greek: Δαίδαλος; Latin: Daedalus; Etruscan: Taitale) was a skillful architect and craftsman, seen as a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and power.
