  2. History. William Doyle's 18th Century Inn, founded at the intersection of the Philadelphia to Easton, and Swedsford to Coryell's Ferry roads, was the seed that bloomed into the town now known as Doylestown.

  6. History. Doylestown includes a number of villages which were formerly independent communities, including Bennetts Corner, Castle Valley, Cross Keys, Dyerstown, Edison, Fountainville, Furlong, Greers Corner, Paul Valley, Tradesville, The Turk, and Vauxtown.
