The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (French: Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement, abbreviated IHEID), also known as the Geneva Graduate Institute, is a public-private graduate-level university located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Graduate Institute is a Swiss, government-accredited institution of higher education, receiving subsidies from the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva. Its master and doctoral degree diplomas are recognised nationally and internationally.
The Geneva Graduate Institute offers five disciplinary master programmes: Master in Anthropology and Sociology; Master in International Economics; Master in International History and Politics; Master in International Law; Master in International Relations/Political Science
