Rosa Parks war eine afroamerikanische Bürgerrechtlerin. Am 1. Dezember 1955 blieb Rosa Parks auf einem Platz im Bus sitzen, der für einen weißen Fahrgast gedacht war und setzte sich somit für ihre und die Rechte aller Schwarzen Bürger*innen in den USA ein.
