Leben. Sophie Brahe [3] war das jüngste der zwölf Kinder von Otte Brahe (1518–1571) und Beate Clausdatter Bille (1526–1605) aus dem Adelsgeschlecht Bille. Sophie Bille Brahe began making jewellery as a child in a small workshop built for her to explore her passion by her alternative-bohemian school.
Bille Brahe’s heavenly inspirations stem from her childhood, growing up. as the descendant of the pioneering 16th century astronomer Tycho Brahe. Inspired by the mystical nature of the night sky, to her diamonds represent the stars, while pearls symbolise the Earth's love affair with the moon.

Sophia (or Sophie) Thott Lange ( née Brahe; 24 August 1559 or 22 September 1556 [1] – 1643), known by her maiden name, was a Danish noblewoman and horticulturalist with knowledge of astronomy, chemistry, and medicine. She worked alongside her brother Tycho Brahe in making astronomical observations.
