Juni 2020 · The radiosonde database of the University of Wyoming, which is one of the most popular datasets worldwide, was used in this study to obtain radiosonde data over a period of 40 years (1979–2018). The data used included temperature and RHL profiles, and the total number of soundings was 205,133.
The University of Wyoming maintains a server (http://weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/sounding.html) that provides an interface to query current and historical upper air soundings data. Tools are provided to query this service and retrieve the data.
