Church Information. The St George's Anglican Cathedral, Perth is the principal cathedral of the Anglican Province of Western Australia and the metropolitan Diocese of Perth. Although work began in 1879, and the foundation stone was laid in 1880, the first service was not held until 8/8/1888.
