  1. Sir Roy George Douglas Allen, CBE, FBA (3 June 1906 – 29 September 1983) was an English economist, mathematician and statistician, also member of the International Statistical Institute.

  2. 11. Juli 2019 · Allen was Chairman of the Committee on the Impact of Rates in 19631965 and a member of the Commission on Civil Liability in 19741978. He also sat on the Committee of Inquiry on Decimal Currency (HMSO 1963 ). The recommendations of this Committee had a somewhat controversial outcome.
