The file resides in "\Darkwood\Darkwood_Data\Managed" folder where your game is installed, just back your existing one up and replace it with this, restart your game, and now when you fail to unlock a chest it writes the code at the bottom of the screen. I would really only use it for curiosity sake though.

  2. 27. Sept. 2017 · Technology has advanced enough so that when you've got a random code, the note that comes with it tells the appropriate code. And yes, some of them are DEFINETLY RNG, like the crates in Wolfman's Camp in Silent Woods, which can only be opened by guessing every code from 0000 to 9999.

  3. 18. Jan. 2017 · As far as I know (at least in the first chapter) there's only one code-locked container you can find the code for. I assume it's something they plan on doing more with later. You could certainly make the nights creepier...

  4. 8459 is the code used for the container under the rug at The Doctor's house, it contains a toy rocket, a map containing the location of The Trainwreck and: The code to the Trainwreck, is another randomly generated code that can be found at the container under the rug at The Doctor's house.

  5. There is a container in one of the first hideouts and haven't find any code taht coresponds on any of my playthroughs. Am I missing something?

  6. 24. Juli 2014 · Can we please get a definitive answer to the question of these codes? Are they findable within the game or are they random with no clue other than brute force guessing? The code for the hideout crate that is posted here and on the web has been changed. It doesn't work. As far as I know the only one with a clue is the chicken lady ...

  7. 22. Aug. 2017 · Apparently the code was sent via email to the indiegogo backers. I believe it contains a shovel and some other basic supplies. The Devs have said on the forum that you can find the code in-game too, although I don't know where myself.
