Dublin Institute of Technology ( DIT, Irish: Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Bhaile Átha Cliath) was a major third-level institution in Dublin, Ireland. On 1 January 2019 DIT was dissolved and its functions were transferred to the Technological University Dublin, as TU Dublin City Campus. [2]
From Foundation Level to PhD. Students can gain entry from Foundation level to PhD. We welcome applications from students at any stage of their studies as our internationally recognised qualifications and courses allow flexible entry throughout our three and four year degree programmes.
The university was formed by the amalgamation of three existing institutes of technology in the Dublin area – Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and Institute of Technology, Tallaght, taking over all functions and operations of these institutions.
