This 1976 follow-up, Gulf Winds, might be easy to consider the first step down. I believe that things looked very different back then. I believe that things looked very different back then. Gulf Winds is one more nice Joan Baez album; of course it was made when Joan was at the top (of her career or anything), but I don't think that things were considered this way in the mid-1970s.
