Davy Lutton. Miller Anderson. Herbie Flowers. Tony Newman. T. Rex were a British rock band. They were formed in London in 1967 as Tyrannosaurus Rex and changed their name to T. Rex in 1970. They released many singles and albums. They disbanded when their frontman Marc Bolan (1947–1977) was killed in a car accident.
