The Jazz Butcher, 1989. The Jazz Butcher, auch unter dem Namen The Jazz Butcher Conspiracy, Jazz Butcher Quartet oder The Jazz Butcher And His Sikkorskis From Hell bekannt, war das Projekt und die Band des 2021 verstorbenen britischen Musikers und Songwriters Pat Fish und des Gitarristen Max Eider.
Ich bin auf die Band über Spacemen 3 und Spiritualized aufmerksam geworden, und die beiden Sets Wasted Years und Violent Years sind echte Glücksfalle. Es waren wohl Pat Fish und The Jazz Butcher, die Spacemen 3 zu einem Plattenvertrag beim Indie Label Glass Records verholfen haben.
10. Feb. 2018 · Like a lot of people, I lost track of the Jazz Butcher at the end of the ‘80s, maybe he lost track of himself, too, but it’s clear I missed out on some great records at the time.
