First, he founded Blackfoot, then put it on hold to join up with Lynyrd Skynyrd during their formative stages, before returning back to Blackfoot (and scoring big with such classic rock standards as "Train, Train" and "Highway Song"), and then rejoining Skynyrd for good in 1996.
