Marc Cohn is a storyteller, and his lyrics draw you in. He is sincere, even vulnerable, in his approach, and the striking honesty of his lyrics carve out a unique place for him in the folk-soul-pop genre. I believe this self-titled album is his best work, though few copies were made on vinyl, and it can be hard to find.
