  1. Bass guitarist Franklin Wilkie, who played with Godfrey in Garfeel Ruff, is probably best known for his eight years playing bass for the Marshall Tucker Band.He took on the difficult job of replacing Tommy Caldwell after his untimely death in an automobile accident.
