Premier film de Abel Gance que je vois et faut se rendre à l'évidence visuellement c'est monstrueux. Les cadrages, les lumières, les surimpressions, les ombres, la mise en scene, des décors, des corps, des costumes et de tout ce qui compose le cadre. Ça se voit que Abel Gance a connu le muet et ça rend son travail visuel plus que remarquable.
