Lasse Virén. Lasse Artturi Virén ( fødd 22. juli 1949) er ein politikar og tidlegare finsk langdistanseløpar og politimann frå Myrskylä. Han vann fire gullmedaljar i to ulike sommar-olympiadar. I München i 1972 vann han både 5000 meter og 10 000 m, og gjentok prestasjonane på begge distansane i Montreal i 1976.
