Als ich mir den Film ansah, war ich positiv überrascht, denn mit SAW und Consorten kann man diesen Film ganz und gar nicht vergleichen. Wer wie ich ein Fan von subtilem Grusel ist und besondere Filme mag, der wird diesen Film lieben. Ich habe extra ,,Grusel" geschrieben, weil ,,The Chair" für mich kein Horrorfilm ist; er löst eher wohlige Schauer aus, die einem über den Rücken laufen ...

Danielle admits that she can still "feel" the killer; at this moment Jacob murders Anna with the crowbar she had brought inside as a weapon.
