Charles Caroll, dit Charles Carroll de Carollton, né le 19 septembre 1737 à Annapolis et mort le 14 novembre 1832 à Baltimore, fut délégué au Congrès continental et plus tard sénateur du Maryland. Il fut le seul catholique signataire de la Déclaration d'indépendance des États-Unis et celui ayant vécu le plus longtemps.

Charles Dodgson and Frances Jane Lutwidge. He and his 10 siblings grew up in isolated villages in the English countryside.
