  6. Alice Claypoole Gwynne est née le 11 novembre 1845 à Cincinnati, Ohio. Alice, qui grandit aussi à Cincinnati, est la fille de l'avocat Abraham Evan Gwynne et de sa femme, Rachel Moore Flagg.
