When you are connected to the Internet, Google Maps is more accurate and will suggest the best way to get to a place. When it comes to platforms, Nokia HERE Maps is already available for Samsung ...
But I can recommend the one named Organic Maps. It's FOSS, and available at Fdroid. I switched directly from Google Maps, and it fells more or less the same. Except for the tracking ofc. Has some opt-outs and can download maps and use in offline mode. The good thing from Here WeGo maps, you can download and use offline maps.
