It comes after Mr Heappey confirmed his resignation, saying he has "loved every minute" in the role. The Tory MP for Wells posted on X: "I've loved every minute as MinAF in this incredible department.

This week, in his capacity as Minister for Europe, Leo visited Kyiv to represent the UK at the Yalta European Strategy conference. The Yalta European Strategy (YES) conference is an annual summit where the future of Europe's security is discussed.

  7. Leo Docherty is no longer a Member, but was most recently the Conservative MP for Aldershot, and left the Commons on 30 May 2024. He currently holds the Government post of Minister of State (Ministry of Defence) (Minister for the Armed Forces).
