Pacific Overtures is my favorite Sondheim score. I've had the original cast album since it came out in 1977, and I pretty much know it by heart. I've also got the libretto--an old Fireside Theatre edition that's at least 45 years old (can't find a photo of it here on goodreads!)--and I've read the script many times over the years.
