15. Feb. 2014 · Im Jahr 1964 kam Mick Avory als Schlagzeuger zu den Kinks. Neben Ray und Dave Davies, dem Brüderpaar und Gründern der Band, ist Avory das Mitglied, das am längsten bei den Kinks blieb. Ganze 20 Jahre verbrachte er mit ihnen im Studio und auf Tour. Heute spielt er bei The Kast Off Kinks und diversen 60er-Allstar-Bands.
