The focus at St Edward's College is on students Thinking, Understanding and finally Learning (TUL). At St Edward's we deliver our lessons with the most current, tried and proven international methodologies. You will see our teachers practicing TUL during their lessons. TUL has its origins with the Project Zero Group.
St Edward's College is the only Roman Catholic secondary Cathedral School in England, and thus has a unique place within the Catholic Church in England. Educating the cathedral choristers, who rehearse in school and lead the Cathedral’s choral worship day by day, St Edward’s has a uniquely close relationship with the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool.

The St Edward’s Sports Complex, athletics track, football pitch, tennis court and other sports facilities at the foot of the St James Bastion, behind the College Chapel, were constructed between 2013 and early 2014. An excellent Gym is located within the historic St James Gate, one of the gates forming part of the Cottonera Lines.
