Mir persönlich gefielen die wenig geliebten Werke von 80-82 besser, da sich bei "Breaking Hearts" bei Elton schon eine gewisse Einfallslosigkeit und Nähe zum Schweinerock ankündigte, aus der er erst mit "Sacrifice" wieder entkam. Trotzdem natürlich kein schlechtes Werk, mit dem entspannten Philly-Sound von "Who Wears These Shoes" und dem Fetzer "Li'l Frigerator".

While I will always be partial to his early music, 11/17/70, Elton John, Tumbleweed Connection, Honky Chateau etc. I have come to enjoy his current offerings ...
