The Making It festival hub is open in Silk Street Theatre on Friday 14 and Friday 21 June. Events coming up at Guildhall, from classical and jazz concerts to fully staged productions created by our Opera, Drama and Production Arts departments.
Research at Guildhall School explores fundamental questions about the creative arts. It embraces a wide range of disciplines within music and drama including composition, performance, pedagogy, institution studies, historical musicology, music and literature studies, cultural history, electronic music, creative writing and music therapy.
The Guildhall School of Music and Drama is offering GREAT Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year, each worth £10,000. Scholarships are available for students from: India. Mexico. These scholarships are available for a taught master’s programme in the following subjects: MA Collaborative Performance Making.
Our students are selected on merit by audition which means it is not necessary to have any previous acting experience. When you begin your training with us, you should normally be at least 18 years old. Most students are a few years older and there is no upper age limit. Applications from overseas applicants are welcomed.
