Michael Kuehlwein | Pomona College. Originally from Delaware, I came to Pomona directly from graduate school at MIT in 1987. My research interests include theories of consumer spending and saving, the effects of budget deficits on interest rates, and recently the impact of railroads on grain market integration and famines in 19th century India.
