Elmhurst Ballet School offers ballet training to 11 to 19 year olds. Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, the school has close links with Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Elmhurst is an independent school for classical ballet students aged 11-19 years’ old. Entry to the school is by audition with students joining from Year 7 onwards and graduating after Year 14. In a typical year, 80% of our students receive financial assistance to train with us.

2021-2022. Autumn Term. Ashley Shaw - Principal of New Adventures- Delivered a workshop to the year 10 and Graduate students. Rosanna Ely - BRB Artist- Delivered excerpts from the ballet City of a 1000 Trades to the year 12 Women as part of the BRB Activities programme.
Elmhurst opportunities to get to know us a little more started with two Experience Days during the autumn term. On Sundays 9 th and 16 th October, we welcomed an incredible 36 attendees with 29 parent spectators for Lower School interest, and 27 attendees and 25 parent spectators for those potential students wishing to know more about living ...

Elmhurst Ballet School is an independent school for professional classical ballet in the United Kingdom. It takes students aged 11–19 years who intend to pursue a career in professional classical ballet. Elmhurst provides a full academic day in conjunction with a full vocational training course in ballet and dance.
