The second album of Thelma Houston & Jerry Butler is pleasant enough although one suspects that it consisted mostly of left-overs from the first album. It also contains solo tracks from both of them, but Jerry's Barry White-esque "Never Gonna Give You Up" and the funky "Chicago Bring Her Home", not to mention Thelma's wonderful Van McCoy-written pearl "Don't Pity Me", are highlights.

Award-winning performer, producer and composer Jerry "The Iceman" Butler was born in Sunflower, Mississippi on December 8, 1939. He moved to Chicago, Illinois at the age of three and grew up in an area later known as the Cabrini-Green Housing Projects.
