Albert Finney est un acteur britannique, né le 9 mai 1936 à Salford et mort le 7 février 2019 à Brompton (district de Londres) [1]. Formé à la Royal Academy of Dramatic Art , il travaille dans le théâtre avant de devenir célèbre au cinéma au début des années 1960, en faisant ses débuts dans Le Cabotin (1960) de Tony Richardson , qui l'avait auparavant dirigé au théâtre.
Albert Finney foi casado com Jane Werham (de 1957 a 1961), com quem teve um filho, Simon, e com Anouk Aimée, musa do cinema francês, atriz do clássico "Um Homem, Uma Mulher", (1970 a 1978). Como diretor já se aventurou em dois filmes: "Charlie Bubbles – A Máscara e o Rosto" (1968) e "The Biko Inquest" (1984), produzido para a televisão.
