Most every old time movie star has to live down their own version of Andy Hardy’s Blonde Trouble (1944), the title I’m picking as Marshall’s biggest dud and certainly his most miscast role.

Marshall starred opposite such stars as Marlene Dietrich, in "Blonde Venus" (1932), and Greta Garbo, in "The Painted Veil" (1934), as well as in two Hitchcock films, "Murder" (1930) and "Foreign Correspondent" (1940).
