This movie set in Rio de Janeiro sees an American ambassador shaking loose his handlers to explore the poorer more dangerous side of Rio, a famous British plastic surgeon arriving to do work in Rio, an unfaithful married couple exploring their desires, and a tour guide and his gorgeous native partner.
Permalink. Rio is HOT, seems the yanks once they get over the shock of needing a visa think Rio is a cool place to visit. The film is typical of what Yanks think that Rio might be but is not a complete picture of Rio just a US reflection of Brazilian city. Rio has great beaches and a big statue of a very white Christ overlooking a very brown city.
